Daddy's Biggest Fan

Lucy was the honorary mascot/#1 fan for Bryan's flag football team, Theophany.

The jersey is a little big and no one believes she's a girl when she wears it!

Lucy really loves the swings, but now that she can walk, she is having fun exploring the rest of the playground as well.

Going for a ride!
When Daddy doesn't hold her hands, Lulu grabs fistfuls of his hair to hold on.

Lucy is quite the budding pianist.

But, she doesn't always use her hands.

This video is a handy distraction when you have two tired babies!

Dinnertime

Sometimes Lucy is equal parts tired and hungry when we feed her. This is what happens...

4th of July

Lucy and Naomi sportin' the red, white and blue. They both thoroughly enjoyed the fireworks, although I don't have photographic evidence. Also, there were other people there, but they weren't nearly as cute.

Ok, so this one isn't technically from July 4th...I just thought my daddy would like it!

Pasadena so far

Bryan is enjoying his first class at Fuller. Lucy and I are loving the playground and all the places to walk and explore. All of us are making so many new friends and are never lacking something fun to do. We have plans for a 4th of July evening picnic at a big park with several of those new friends so we'll have plenty of fun pictures to share after this weekend!

Some of our favorite things about Pasadena:

Bryan
  1. In-n-Out Burger "Animal Style" Fries
  2. The fact that everything is within walking distance, including...
  3. Play 'n' Trade Video Game Store
  4. Trader Joe's Bavarian Hefeweizen
  5. Getting to hang out with friends every day
  6. The fact that there's so much FREE stuff to do
  7. Fuller classes and, surprisingly, some of his books
  8. And, although he spends a great deal of time there, the library is not one of his favorite things about Pasadena
Sara
  1. Trader Joe's
  2. Lots of fun, young stay-at-home moms
  3. Ikea $2 picture frames and $13 end tables
  4. Cool evenings and mornings
  5. Living without A/C is not one of my fav. things, but a utility bill under $20 is!
  6. In-n-Out Coke, but only on special occasions
  7. Our view of the gas station...there's always something interesting going on
  8. Colorado Blvd. - just everything about it, including the fact that it's the Rose Parade route
Lucy
  1. The swings at the playground
  2. Rice cereal mixed with pears
  3. Naomi
  4. Lots of stroller & Baby Bjorn rides
  5. Hot days that allow for optimum naked time
  6. The fact that Daddy's home a LOT more now! (This is one of Sara's favorites, too)
  7. Lots of kids to watch and play with
  8. Did I mention baby food?
